Bulk Shirts Don't Have to Mean Bulk Headaches
Ordering custom shirts for a full team or a large company event sounds straightforward — until you're wrangling size submissions from 40 employees, waiting on design approvals from three different managers, and watching your event date creep closer. Sound familiar?
LuxPort Print Co has a streamlined process specifically designed for bulk business orders. Here's how it works, and how to make your next large shirt order as painless as possible.
How We Define Bulk Orders
For us, a bulk order is anything above 25 shirts. At this scale, we apply gang sheet printing methods that significantly reduce your per-shirt cost while maintaining the same DTF print quality across every garment — regardless of size.
Step-by-Step: How to Place a Bulk Business Shirt Order
Step 1: Assign One Point of Contact
The single most important decision you can make before ordering is designating one person to manage the process. They collect sizes, communicate with our team, and approve the proof. Multi-stakeholder approvals add days or weeks to timelines that don't need to be that long.
Step 2: Collect Sizes Before Anything Else
Start collecting sizes the moment you decide to order — before the design is finalized, before you've even reached out to us. Size collection from a large employee group consistently takes longer than expected. Set a firm internal deadline and send reminders.
Common size breakdown for business orders:
- S: 5-10%
- M: 20-25%
- L: 25-30%
- XL: 20-25%
- 2XL: 10-15%
- 3XL+: 5% (order a couple extra in these)
Step 3: Submit Your Brand Assets
Send us your logo file (vector or high-res PNG preferred), your brand colors, and any design direction you have. If you don't have a logo file ready, our design team can recreate or refine your logo as part of the order process.
Step 4: Review and Approve Your Proof
We deliver a digital proof within 1-2 business days. Review it carefully for logo accuracy, text, and color. Approve it as quickly as possible — every day between proof delivery and approval is a production day not yet started.
Step 5: We Print and Ship
After approval, bulk orders move into production. Gang sheet printing keeps costs efficient, and most large orders ship within 7-10 business days. We'll provide tracking information so you know exactly when to expect delivery.
Volume Pricing
The more shirts you order, the lower your per-shirt cost. We offer volume pricing on bulk orders — ask about current rates when you submit your inquiry. For recurring orders (onboarding new employees, seasonal restocks), we keep your approved design on file so reorders are fast and consistent.
